Once Day 1 is complete, the full field will return to Silverado Resort for Friday’s second round of the 2021 Fortinet Championship. You can find full Round 2 tee times for the tournament at the bottom of this post.
Notable pairings for Fortinet Championship Round 2
Hideki Matsuyama has little left to prove in the game of golf. The 29-year-old Tour veteran finally captured his first major championship victory at the 2021 Masters. But he’s not ready to coast in the new season. Instead he decided to tee it up in the very first tournament, just two weeks after finishing T26 at the Tour Championship.
On Thursday in Napa, Matsuyama teed off the 1st tee in the afternoon. For Friday’s second round, he’ll switch to a morning tee time of 10:44 a.m. ET, and he’ll once again play alongside Hudson Swafford and Matt Kuchar.
Other notable pairings for the second round include Jon Rahm, Max Homa and Si Woo Kim (3:54 p.m. ET); Phil Mickelson, Cameron Champ and Kevin Tway (4:05 p.m. ET); Will Zalatoris, Marc Leishman and Brandt Snedeker (10:55 a.m. ET); and Webb Simpson, Michael Thompson and Emiliano Grillo (3:43 p.m. ET).
