We have not wanted for entertainment through three rounds at the 2021 Farmers Insurance Open, which can only mean one thing: the stage is set for an action-packed final round. Here’s everything you need to know to watch the action on Sunday.
Previewing the Farmers Insurance Open final round
Carlos Ortiz is tied for the lead heading into Sunday at the Farmers Insurance Open, which, with all due respect to Carlos Ortiz, is probably the least-climactic way to describe the events of Saturday at Torrey Pines. Of course, Ortiz’s Saturday 66 launched him into a tie for the lead, but the man he shares the lead with — Patrick Reed — has taken a far larger share of the spotlight.
Reed found himself embroiled in a rules controversy after taking questionable relief for an embedded ball on off the 10th green. While all indications are that Reed acted within the rules of golf in electing to take his drop, his actions have drawn some criticism for landing in a moral gray area.
Reed and Ortiz tee off together with Sam Burns at 1:20 p.m. ET. The two leaders are trailed by a couple of big name players, including the likes of Jon Rahm, Viktor Hovland and Tony Finau. Below you’ll find everything you need to watch the final round of play from the Farmers Insurance Open on Sunday.
