The 2021 CJ Cup continues on Friday, October 8, with the second round at The Summit Club in Las Vegas. Here’s what you need to know to watch Round 2 on TV or online.
Previewing CJ Cup Round 2
Last season was a big one for Jordan Spieth. It saw the three-time major champion mount a career comeback, returning to the elite ranks of golf after years of struggles. Now ranked World No. 12, Spieth is hoping to continue his run back to the top in the new season. So far, he’s off to a good start.
In his 2021-2022 PGA Tour debut on Thursday, Spieth carded seven birdies and one bogey to shoot a six-under 66 at The Summit Club. He’s five shots back of 18-hole leader Robert Streb, and he has a lot of company near the top of the leaderboard. Rickie Fowler matched Spieth’s 66 in the opening round, as did Hideki Matsuyama, while Viktor Hovland and Sergio Garcia bettered them by one.
Other star players didn’t fare quite as well but are still in the hunt with three rounds to play, like Rory McIlroy (four under) and Brooks Koepka (five under). Below you will find everything you need to watch the second round of the 2021 CJ Cup on Friday.
