Cameron Tringale is winless in strokeplay events to this point in his professional career, but he greets perhaps his best chance of victory to date at the 3M Open. At the 54-hole mark, Tringale holds a one-stroke lead over the remainder of the field at 12 under.
To win on Sunday, he’ll have to hold off a group of pros headlined by 2019 U.S. Open champ Gary Woodland. Woodland enters Sunday one stroke back after three consecutive rounds in the 60s to open the weekend, and looking for his first win since his victory in the national championship at Pebble Beach two years ago.

Further back, Sung Kang and Rickie Fowler will look to put on their finest Sunday rallies, but they’ll both need LOW numbers on Sunday in order to make up for dreadful performances on the 18th at TPC Twin Cities. On Saturday, Kang recorded a 12 on the 18th hole at TPC Twin Cities, while Fowler recorded a triple-bogey 8.
