The PGA Championship total purse is the same as it was last year, and that’s good news for those contending on Sunday. Because the winner, and even the runner-up, gets over $1 million.

As for this week’s 54-hole leader, Dustin Johnson, his game cratered toward collapse just two weeks ago. The 36-year-old had just followed up back-to-back 80s at the Memorial by withdrawing from the 3M Open with a back injury after a first-round 78. For those scoring at home, that’s a combined score of 238 over three rounds for the world’s No. 5 player.

That was 16 days ago. Today, Johnson woke up the solo leader heading into the final round at the PGA Championship, fresh off a third-round 65.

Johnson is trailed closely on the leaderboard by a bevy of big names. Brooks Koepka (seven under) is two strokes back and seeking his third consecutive PGA Championship, tied with Collin Morikawa and Paul Casey. Further back, Bryson DeChambeau, Tony Finau and Xander Schauffele are all within striking distance. And much closer, Cam Champ and Scottie Scheffler sit only a single stroke behind Johnson at eight under.

Here’s the payout information for the PGA Championship’s $11 million purse; you can watch all the action Sunday from 12-3 p.m. ET on ESPN and 3-9 p.m. ET on CBS.
