Viktor Hovland has vaulted himself into the lead heading into the turn. The 23-year-old PGA Tour pro is looking for his second PGA Tour victory (and first full-field win) in Cancun, he holds a two-stroke lead over the remainder of the field at 18 under.
Tony Finau (he of the wildly bizarre putter) sits in second place at 16 under. Finau is tied with Aaron Wise, Emilliano Grillo and Tom Hoge at two strokes back of Hovland.
Still in the hunt behind the main pack of leaders is a cluster at 14 under. Justin Thomas and Maverick McNealy lead that group, with Thomas storming into contention after a Saturday 62.
