U.S. Open odds to win: Dustin Johnson the favorite to capture second major title

Buckle up, folks — it’s U.S. Open week. And it should surprise no one to see Dustin Johnson as the favorite to take the title, owning 8/1 odds according to golfodds.com.

Johnson has been on an absolute heater as of late, finishing in the top two in four consecutive events dating back to the PGA Championship. He’s gunning for his second U.S. Open title as he heads to Winged Foot looking to bolster one of the most impressive resumes in the modern game.

Lagging just behind is one of just two players to beat Johnson over the last month in Jon Rahm at 10/1 odds. Rahm beat Johnson in a playoff at the BMW Championship and also owns a win at one of the other most difficult setups of the season at the Memorial. He’s looking to capture his first major title in an otherwise all-world start to his career.

A trio of strong contenders comes in at 14/1 with Justin Thomas, Rory McIlroy and Xander Schauffele searching for the major win that has eluded them of late, while Collin Morikawa looks to make it two for two in the majors in 2020 as he rounds out the top five with 18/1 odds.
