The 2022 Players Championship is here, the first truly big tournament of the season, and with all the best players in the field, the betting favorites are no surprise. It’s not often we get a two-time major champion to play the role of our longshot, but Zach Johnson fits the bill this week. The 46-year-old veteran will be the U.S. Ryder Cup captain in Rome next year, but he’s still got plenty of game left in the tank. Johnson recorded three top-10s last season already has two top-25s in the new season, including a T14 at the American Express.
