GOLF Top 100 Teacher Matt Killen, who has in the past helped Tiger Woods and Justin Thomas with their putting, has recently developed The Raindrop.

Unlike other putt-practice strings, this one neatly retracts into a teardrop-shaped hub, so it stays tight, intact and never tangles. The bookend pillars, meanwhile, fasten on either end so that they can never become dislodged.

The Raindrop

The RainDrop was developed in partnership with world renowned GOLF Top-100 Teacher Matt Killen, the putting coach of MULTIPLE Majors champions, to help every golfer make more putts.

With those problems solved, you can enjoy the benefits of practicing putting with a string. Run it from the ball to the hole as shown below; the goal is to hit putts so that the ball starts rolling in line with the string before gradually breaking off.

It’ll help you visualize both the start line and the break — which is why the pros like it — without any of the hassle.
