Power was a hot talking point this year in golf. First, it was the distance insights report and what it meant for the future of the game. Then, Bryson DeChambeau’s bulk-up in a search for distance was all the rage. When he won at the U.S. Open later in the summer, there was talk of it being a turning point in the sport.
