Since Sean Foley and David Woods invented the ProSENDR in 2023, the product has become one of the hottest training aids in golf.

There are countless ways you can err in the golf swing, and there are countless products that claim they can fix these woes. If you’re battling a slice, there’s a training aid to fix it. Struggling with your grip? A training aid can fix that, too. No matter how you’re hitting the ball, there’s a product out there that promises to help you hit it better.

The trouble with limitless options in the training aid market is sifting through the junk. While there may be endless options, not all of them are good ones. Some products work better than others, and it’s important to only use a training aid that has proven worthy.

Early last year, one such product hit the market that has since become popular among recreational players and Tour pros alike. The ProSENDR — the brainchild of GOLF Top 100 Teachers Sean Foley and David Woods — came on the scene last winter, and it’s been a hit ever since.

Their 3-in-1 aid focuses primarily on training your mind and hands to work in a coordinated way, resulting in better ball-striking. And if the roster of users is any indication, that mission has been a resounding success thus far. Pros such as Rory McIlroy, Cameron Smith, Phil Mickelson, Justin Thomas, Will Zalatoris and others have all been spotted using the product on the range — and they keep finding success.

Pros aren’t the only ones loving the ProSENDR, though. The product has also been a hit among recreational players as they learn the proper positions for their arms and hands to produce high-level ball-striking.

“Obviously, it’s tidying up some of the pros,” Woods said. “But for amateurs, your hands are everything in the golf swing. It controls the clubface. The ProSENDR doesn’t force you into a position, it gives you a destination.”

As the ProSENDR brand has continued to grow, so too have the offerings from the company. This year, Foley and Woods debuted the Connection Sphere, another swing aid that teaches the fundamentals for a sound swing. In addition, the company is beginning to offer instructional videos on their website as a part of their ProSENDR performance platform.

“Our plan is to become much more than a training aid company,” Woods said. “We’re creating a learning environment for golfers of all playability. The ProSENDR performance platform will be a community for those who are dedicated to improving their golf skills. Sean and I have a vision for best practices and we look forward to sharing our knowledge and products with fellow golfers who are passionate about the game we all love.”

For lots of recreational golfers, it can be difficult to identify the training aids that actually work. But if the ProSENDR’s roster of talent — and recent growth — is any indication, these products are a good place to start.
