Erika Larkin explains how the Orange Whip can help you develop a longer, faster swing in the fifth episode of this 5-part series.
If you’ve been told that your golf swing is all arms and upper body, or you’re trying to learn to activate your lower body and legs to increase your swing power, try out this drill.
Use the Orange Whip Lightspeed trainer to make mini Happy swings. Soon you’ll be hitting the ball almost as far as Happy Gilmore himself!
1. Stand with your feet together
Address the ball with your feet together, rather than shoulder width apart.
2. Swing and step
As you bring the club back, step forward with your front foot.
3. Weight shift
As you step forward, your weight should naturally shift forward as well, helping you use your lower body to power your downswing.
Orange Whip Lightspeed Trainer
The original Orange Whip Trainer was designed to synchronize your golf swing and the new Orange Whip LightSpeed was designed specifically to increase your clubhead speed while maintaining control. It’s the perfect combination of power and accuracy.
