The company that established itself in the golf industry with the creation of 3- and 4-prong tees has a new golf glove with GPS technology.
The DistancePro GPS consists of a minimally-intrusive 0.5 ounce Bluetooth-enabled device that attaches to the top of the glove and pairs with an iPhone or Samsung Galaxy phone for instant yardages to the front, center, and back of the green on more than 35,000 courses.
The device is sold as a package that also includes two men’s or women’s synthetic gloves ($100), or two men’s Cabretta leather gloves ($125), all designed to be one-size-fits-all. A replaceable battery provides up to 400 hours of play, while the GPS unit is transferrable to replacement Zero Friction gloves (priced between $15 and $23). Available November 25.
