Winner’s Bag: Dustin Johnson at the 2020 Travelers Championship

Dustin Johnson made a few equipment changes prior to capturing his 21st PGA Tour victory at the 2020 Travelers Championship.

First, Johnson put a new TaylorMade Truss TB1 putter in the bag that has a loft of 3 degrees, a 70-degree lie angle and a swing weight of E0.

Also, Johnson had two hybrids in the bag. This is especially notable because he has never typically used hybrids throughout his career, and now he has two in the bag. Early in the week, Johnson changed the loft on one of the hybrids from 20-to-19 degrees because he “needed it to go 265+ yards,” according to a TaylorMade rep.

Check out Johnson’s full winning setup below:

Driver: TaylorMade SIM (Fujikura Speeder 661X shaft), 10.5 degrees

3-wood: TaylorMade SIM Max (Project X HZRDUS Black 95-gram 6.5-flex shaft), 15 degrees

Hybrids: TaylorMade SIM Max (19 and 22 degrees; Project X HZRDUS Black 105-gram 6.5-flex shafts)

Irons: TaylorMade P730 (4-PW; True Temper Dynamic Gold Tour Issue X100 shafts)

Wedges: TaylorMade MG2 (52 and 60 degrees; KBS Tour 120S shafts)

Putter: TaylorMade Truss TB1 (35.75 inches and 3 degrees of loft) with a SuperStroke Pistol GT grip

Golf Ball: TaylorMade TP5X
