Our take: Wedges that emphasize versatility are among our favorite kinds because, like you, we’re prone to needing a do-it-all club to protect our scores. The premium-priced 0311 Sugar Daddy is considered PXG’s most engineered wedge yet. According to one of our testers, “It sits on the ground beautifully and is balanced really well. I can really feel the clubhead, which is key if I want to get crafty around the greens.”

PXG Sugar Daddy wedge

The premium-priced 0311 Sugar Daddy is considered PXG’s most engineered wedge yet. Both triple forged and CNC milled, the 0311 Sugar Daddy uses tungsten and titanium weights to strategically manipulate the CG.

The details: Both triple forged and CNC milled, the 0311 Sugar Daddy uses tungsten and titanium weights to strategically manipulate the CG so it’s in the perfect spot to play open-faced pitch and chip shots. The Sugar Daddy also comes in two sole options: the 09 for all-around versatility and playability from a wide variety of playing conditions, and the 07, which is narrower and optimized for open-face shots from tight turf conditions and tight lies in general.

Where to buy it: Click here. Or better yet, get fit for the wedge by the experts at our sister company, True Spec Golf.
