Tour Edge Exotics Wingman

Our take: The Tour Edge Exotics Wingman putter has a carbon fiber sole plate. It has “lock-on” alignment technology. It has a micro-groove face. It has interchangeable weights on the soles of its “wings,” hence the name. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Great tech, no doubt. But tell it to me straight, GOLF ClubTest tester. How does it putt??? “Smooth.” Science. And smooth.

The Tour Edge Exotics Wingman putter has a carbon fiber sole plate, “lock-on” alignment technology and a micro-groove face. It also boasts interchangeable weights on the soles of its “wings,” hence the name.

The details: The Exotics Wingman putter features three hosel options — middle toe hang, face balanced and center shafted — and GOLF’s testers reviewed the first and the third. Each features the carbon fiber sole plate, which helps increase the moment of inertia; the “lock-on” alignment technology, which allows the lie angle to be square at address; the micro-groove face, which reduces skipping after contact; and the interchangeable weights, in 3, 8 and 15 grams, which promote the face square to the swing path.

Where to buy it: Click here, or better yet, get fit for the putter by the experts at our sister company, True Spec Golf.
