For ClubTest 2021, we tested and reviewed 21 new putters to help you find the right one for your game. (For more on our testing process, click here.) Below are the results for the TaylorMade Spider FCG putter. You can find the full list of putters and test results here.

TaylorMade Spider FCG

Our take: The T-shaped white sight lines on the crown of TaylorMade’s Spider FCG (forward center of gravity) head proved practical for our GOLF testers. “The white stripes really help you set things up at address,” one tester commented. Players also found the aged copper Pure Roll inserts, which weigh 25 grams, to provide a consistent roll and soft feel.

TaylorMade Spider FCG Putter

TaylorMade Spider FCG putters are made for those with arcing strokes. For a precise feel that’s right for you, the FCG heads also have adjustable weights in the sole, too.

The details: With significantly forward weight placement, TaylorMade’s Spider FCG putters are made for those with arcing strokes. Given the FCG’s weight characteristics, TaylorMade seeks to offer a blade-like feel but in a mallet head shape that helps add forgiveness. For a precise feel that’s right for you, the FCG heads also have adjustable weights in the sole. Impressive stuff. Three hosels are available: flow neck, “L” neck and single-bend.

Where to buy it: Click here. Or better yet, get fit for the putter by the experts at our sister company, True Spec Golf.
