Scotty Cameron / Titleist

Scotty Cameron and Titleist are expanding the popular Special Select putter line with the introduction of the new Special Select Jet Set, featuring a tour black finish, custom graphics, a unique paint contrast and custom designed cover for the release.

The new Special Select Jet Set putters are fully milled in the USA from 303 stainless steel and incorporate what Scotty Cameron calls the performance balanced weight system to optimize each length with the proper head weight.

The Newport and Newport 2 “Plus” models use an aluminum sole plate further increase the MOI while maintaining balance to prevent the putter from becoming too heavy.

Scotty Cameron

“A lot of golfers want to game the same putters the pros play… The overall tone-on-tone look is inspired by custom car builders, and that’s where the Jet Set name comes from. We’ve offered this concept in years past. This is the next version of Jet Set. Specifically, the ‘Plus’ models are in between the width of a Newport 2 and a Squareback 2. I developed this ‘tweener’ size working with a few Tour players who wanted something in between the width of a traditional blade and our Squareback flange width. The Special Select Jet Set Newport Plus and Newport 2 Plus offer those desired sizes and happen to be the first we’ve created for everyone. Limited releases like these new Special Select Jet Set models are for those who want a high-performance putter, but also that little extra.”

Models

Special Select Jet Set Newport: The classic soft-lined plumber’s neck blade comes with a milled topline sight, similar to the one used by Titleist ambassador Jordan Spieth.

Special Select Jet Set Newport Plus: This wider from front-to-back version of the Newport offers increased MOI while not straying too far into the realm of being considered oversize. The longer front-to-back shape is more forgiving, and the extended lines make it easier to align.

Special Select Jet Set Newport 2: This longer heel-to-toe, straight lined blade is the most proven Scotty Cameron shape and relies on a flange line for alignment versus the topline sight that is being offered with the Jet Set Newport. This is the only model of the release that will be available left-handed.

Special Select Jet Set Newport 2 Plus: The Newport 2 Plus offers the same Tour-inspired shape as the Newport 2 but with a front-to-back width that cuts between the standard Newport 2 and the Special Select Square back 2
