For ClubTest 2021, we tested and reviewed 21 new putters to help you find the right one for your game. (For more on our testing process, click here.) Below are the results for the PXG Closer putter. You can find the full list of putters and test results here.

PXG Closer

Our take: High-MOI putters appear to be trending again, with several models designed to make even the yippiest of strokes as smooth as a grandfather clock. The Closer from PXG may not look like one, but it has an MOI so high that testers struggled to miss with it — a testament to an ingenious design that places the CG toward the back. And it’s not all performance here — it delivers a buttery-soft feel time and again.

PXG Closer Putter

The Closer features a golf-ball-width cavity for improved ball positioning at address, two adjustable sole weights, traditional alignment markings and a pyramid face design for a smoother end-over-end roll.

The details: Milled of aerospace-grade aluminum and high-density tungsten, the Closer features a golf-ball-width cavity for improved ball positioning at address, two adjustable sole weights, traditional alignment markings and a pyramid face design for a smoother end-over-end roll. Available with double-bend, plumber’s neck and heel-shafted hosel options.

Where to buy it: Click here. Or better yet, get fit for the putter by the experts at our sister company, True Spec Golf.
