Our take: Not every putterface is made to be soft. Some golfers prefer a firmer feel with more feedback. Ping’s Heppler putters are made for those golfers. “I like this firmer feel so I know where I’ve hit it on the face,” said one GOLF tester. “And the copper with the black provides nice contrast.”

Ping Heppler Putters

Ping’s Heppler putters feature solid faces instead of face inserts to create that firmer feel many testers noticed and liked. Also, Ping uses a combination of steel and pressure-cast aluminum materials in the head to manipulate weight in order to raise forgiveness.

The details: Ping’s Heppler putters feature solid faces instead of face inserts to create that firmer feel many testers noticed and liked. Also, Ping uses a combination of steel and pressure-cast aluminum materials in the head to manipulate weight in order to raise forgiveness. An adjustable grip system helps golfers troubleshoot with length as well. From one tester’s lips to your ears: “This thing putts itself.”
