ODYSSEY PUTTER REVIEWS
Odyssey Eleven
We tested: Tour Lined and Triple Track alignment options
Our take: The Odyssey Eleven is a new age mallet design that has the forgiving shape and alignment features of a large putter head, but it performs with the precise control of a blade. Our testers found it especially easy to aim, especially the Tour Lined and Triple Track versions. “If you can’t aim this putter, then you can’t aim anything at all,” on tester said. “It’s dummy-proof. Point, aim, shoot.”
Odyssey Eleven Tour Lined putter
The details: Forward weighting in the head pushes weight toward the face to more closely mimic the weight distribution of a blade putter. There’s a multi-material TPU sole plate in the center of head to improve sound and feel, and also remove unwanted weight from the center of the head. The Eleven putters come with a White Hot insert for a soft feel. There are multiple hosel options to match your stroke, and different crown alignment options to dial in your preferred look.
Odyssey Tri-Hot 5K
We tested: One, Two, Three, Double Wide and Triple Wide models
Our take: Do you want to use a blade-style putter, but find them too unforgiving on off-center hits? Our testers found the Tri-Hot 5K putters to remain stable on heel or toe strikes despite their traditional, blade-like appearances.
Odyssey Tri-Hot 5K putter
The details: These multi-material constructions use a combination of 303 stainless steel, lightweight 6061 aircraft grade aluminum and heavy Tungsten to create more forgiveness than a blade putter would normally provide. They also have White Hot inserts for a soft feel, and Stroke lab shafts for added control.
Odyssey White Hot OG
We tested: White Hot OG: 1, 7, 7S, 7 Bird DB, 7 CH, 7 Nano, Double Wide DB, Rossie, Rossie S, 2-ball
Our take: Odyssey’s White Hot OG putters are a blast-from-the-past, calling back to the original White Hot putters from decades ago. The nostalgic series combines updated versions of past head designs with the familiar soft feel of its White Hot face inserts.
The details: Odyssey has extended the White Hot OG lineup for 2022, introducing several new models to the successful 2021 launch. Each of the putters comes with a silver PVD finish and a milled surface, a two-part urethane face insert, and a red Stroke lab shaft. With ten different head shapes, there’s something for everyone in the current White Hot OG family.
