FIRST LOOK: Bettinardi Studio Stock 9 ‘Forever ’90s’ putter

Bettinardi's Studio Stock 9 'Forever '90s' putter will be available soon in a super limited quantity.

GOLF.com

On the heels of Bettinardi’s limited-edition “Totally 80’s” putter last year, the putter manufacturer is skipping ahead a decade to the ’90s with its latest release.

Limited to 325 pieces, the limited-run “Forever ’90s” putter is a nod to the decade that brought us the World Wide Web, Saved by the Bell, Super Nintendo and scrunchies.

Each head is designed around Robert Bettinardi’s Studio Stock 9 — a wide-body, face-balanced blade that features a high-toe topline.

The 353-gram head offers some retro 90’s style, beginning with a rainbow PVD finish on the full Flymill face insert that stands out against the Tour Blast finish (303 stainless steel).

Intricate abstract shapes and milled horizontal lines can be found across the sole, along with a neon paint scheme that gives it a “Trapper Keeper feel“. A hot pink stitched, black perforated leather Gripmaster grip and a 90’s or nothing premium headcover complete the look.

Bettinardi’s Studio Stock 9 ‘Forever ’90s’ creation is available Aug. 5 online in the Hive at Bettinardi.com (10 a.m. CDT) and retails for $900 per putter.
