Bettinardi is doing more than simply adding updated versions (Studio Stock, Queen B and Inovai) of some of its most popular putters to the line for 2021. In addition to fresh looks (and a few different head shapes), the putter manufacturer unveiled a new Tour-inspired Roll Control Face design with the Studio Stock line.

Consistent distance control is a trait all good putters possess. The asymmetrical design groove profile found on the face of the Studio Stock makes it easier to produce a more consistent roll by promoting added topspin at impact. Players also gave high marks to the solid feel and “optimal audible” feedback.

“We are confident in the development of the new Roll Control Face after significant testing and R&D,” said Dan Debartolo, Bettinardi’s head of product. “The numbers speak for themselves; this face really shows the highest consistency and feel of a true roll at every putt.”

Milled from 303 stainless steel, the Studio Stock line (SS7, SS17, SS18, SS28) offers 4 different models (7 variations), including a Studio Stock 17 blade with a first-ever Tri-sole design in a production putter, and the Tour-validated SS28 (available in a traditional Spud Neck, Center Shaft, and Armlock option).

“The new Studio Stock Series offers Bettinardi’s latest enhancements in design, performance and quality,” said Sam Bettinardi. “From a soft-tri sole on the SS17, to the crowned topline and sleek appearance on the 18, we took highly-requested Tour features to production to give all golfers unmatched, champion-level confidence at every crucial putt.”

Available in three models (QB6, QB11 and QB12), Queen B is milled from soft carbon steel (362 grams) and comes outfitted in a new rose gold PVD finish. The wide-body QB6 is a carryover from the previous line; however, the compact QB11 mallet (crescent neck) and traditional-style QB12 blade are brand new additions for the year. A micro honeycomb face milling elicits a firm, responsive feel at impact.

Subtle changes were also made to each add in the form of softened edges and a sleeker overall look at address.

“It’s the ultimate in both performance and aesthetic charm. Our new Rose Gold finish is absolutely beautiful, and makes the line an unmatched work of art,” said founder Robert Bettinardi. “The timeless look and feel of our new models channel the successful PGA and LPGA Tour-winning history of this series, and reflects Bettinardi’s ability to combine tradition with innovation.”

Rounding out the new line is Bettinardi’s futuristic Inovai 7.0 mallet, which is comprised of 303 stainless steel and 6061 military-grade aluminum. The design positions more weight in the rear of the head, upping the overall forgiveness and stability characteristics during the stroke. Compared to the classic Baby Ben putter Bettinardi made for 2003 U.S. Open winner Jim Furyk. the new 7.0 head delivers a 30 percent higher M.O.I. — the highest the company has ever produced.

The 7.0 comes with three distinctive neck options, including a spud, slant and center shaft. Each putter has Bettinardi’s F.I.T. (Feel Impact Technology) face milling for a better end-over-end roll.

“It’s rare that a company gets an opportunity to tap into the heritage of a major-winning putter, and bring it into the new decade,” Sam Bettinardi said. “While the 7.0 is inspired from past success, the model is completely upgraded with our new bi-metal technology, combining Bettinardi’s values of heritage and innovation to offer confidence-inspiring looks with modern performance benefits.”

All three putter models will be available at retail on Jan. 15.
