To say Ping’s PLD putter program has been a success would be an understatement. Since it’s introduction in 2022 Ping has seen wins all over the professional tours including Viktor Hovland winning the Fedex Cup and draining a number of match-altering putts as part of the winning European Ryder Cup team.

Viktor isn’t the only one either, other winners that have used a PLD putter include Tony Finau and Corey Conners on the PGA Tour, and Joaquín Niemann on the LIV Tour. On the women’s side Allisen Corpuz used a custom PLD to earn her first major and professional title at the 2023 U.S. Women’s Open at Pebble Beach where she won by three shot.

Now, to celebrate the expansion of the PLD putter line and launch of five new putter models, Ping staffers — or at least their caddies — will be carrying all new custom PLD-branded bags with gold accents this week at the Players at TPC Sawgrass.

The models in the 2024 PLD launch are the Anser, Anser 2D, Oslo 3, DS72, and Ally Blue 4 — all of which are now available at Ping retailers and online.

To go along with the five new stock putter options, Ping’s online putter customizer tool gives golfers even more ways to make their PLD Milled putter truly unique with various alignment aid and even laser-etched graphics to the sole including single Mr. Ping logos, stars and stripes, and even money signs.

So although the new custom PLD staff bags won’t be available to consumers, the 2024 Ping PLD Milled putters are, and you can go to Ping.com for more information or to start customizing your own now.

$449.99
The winningest putter in golf history continues to set the standard with its rounded corners and soft ballasts, making setup and aiming easier in the slight arc design. Heel-toe perimeter weighting ensures forgiveness. Quality and precision A solid block of forged, 303 stainless steel requires more than four hours of milling time; precisely shaping every surface and radius to achieve the high quality and premium look expected in a precision-milled putter. Control and consistency A precision-milled face pattern, known as deep AMP (Aggressive Milling Pattern), is inspired by tour player feedback and provides the feel and speed control you need to deliver score-lowering consistency on the green.
