ClubTest 2018: Odyssey Toulon Atlanta putter review

Odyssey Toulon Atlanta putter, ClubTest 2018

Odyssey Toulon Atlanta

$400; odysseygolf.com

Key Technologies

Fully milled from 303 stainless for enhanced feel; multimaterial aluminum soleplate yields improved MOI and is customizable for weight; deep diamond mill face pattern for improved roll, sound and feel.

Our Take

Since Toulon Design became a part of Odyssey, its putters have only seemed to get better, and the Atlanta is a prime example. Don’t underestimate the effect of the diamond mill pattern on roll and feel. Interchangeable sole weights are ideal for fine-tuning feel and balance.

Fitter Comments

There’s a lot of Toulon milled blades to choose from, and the addition of a short flow neck allows players who like more rotation in their stroke to play a compact mallet.

Recommendation

Targets low- and mid-handicappers who prefer an active release through impact.
