At roughly 40 grams lighter than a standard driver, Titleist’s 460cc TSR1 driver is exactly what you’re thinking — a lightweight product designed for slower to moderate swing speeds who want to pick up more distance (and launch) without making significant modifications to their swing. The TSR2 has been re-engineered from the inside out to deliver more ball speed, stability and a look that fits more in line with the rest of the TSR series. The TSR3 follows a similar path of the improvements to the TSR2, thanks to a newly designed face insert and a subtly reshaped skirt and sole for better aerodynamics. The TSR4 is a true specialty club in the fitting space designed to offer reduced spin for players that have swing dynamics that make it harder to create ideal launch conditions. The TSR4 also offers a smaller head profile. At 430cc, it’s one of few sub-460cc drivers on the market. Models include the Titleist TSR1, Titleist TSR2, Titleist TSR3 and Titleist TSR4.

Titleist TSR fairway woods

Titleist TSR1, TSR2, TSR2+ and TSR3 Fairway Woods

The new Titleist TSR fairway woods, much like the TSR drivers, sent the Titleist engineering team back to the drawing board to make every possible improvement they could from the already beloved TSi series. The results speak for themselves. “Higher, farther and more forgiving” is the headline from Titleist, and the clubs deliver. There is much hidden (and not-so-hidden) tech that should have golfers excited to try out these clubs, including an additional fourth specialty model intended to fill a gap in a lot of players bags. Models include Titleist TSR1, Titleist TSR2, Titleist TSR2+ and Titleist TSR3.

Titleist TSR hybrids

Titleist TSR1, TSR2 and TSR3 Hybrids

$300

Instead of messing with internal weighting, Titleist designers extended the blade length on the TSR2 hybrid to move the center of the face farther from the shaft to keep CG centralized. The result is an anti-left hybrid. Along with extending the blade length, the CG was moved deeper within the head to add ball speed and expanded Moment of Inertia by 10 percent. Understanding that not every golfer has a shallow angle of attack, the TSR3 hybrid (19, 21 and 24 degrees) is made for a steeper angle of attack with an iron-like profile. Because this hybrid is a better-player offering, the blade length wasn’t expanded, as was the case with the TSR2. Instead, offset was removed from the head — when compared to the TSi3 — to achieve a similar anti-left design. Models include Titleist TSR1, Titleist TSR2 and Titleist TSR3.

Titleist Scotty Cameron Super Select putters

Titleist Scotty Cameron Super Select putters

$449

Above all, Scotty Cameron’s 2023 Super Select line is a reminder that the putter designer listens. Golfers have been clamoring for simple, industrial looks — and that’s exactly what they’re getting with Cameron’s first release of the year. Paint fill is almost non-existent on Super Select to give it a clean look. But there’s a design benefit as well. Cameron wanted to save weight from certain areas on the head, so he took weight out of places like the neck and bombs in the cavity to net around 10 grams of discretionary weight that was placed between the heel-toe weights. Models include Scotty Cameron Super Select Newport, Scotty Cameron Super Select Newport Plus, Scotty Cameron Super Select Newport 2, Scotty Cameron Super Select Newport 2 Plus, Scotty Cameron Super Select Newport 2.5 plus, Scotty Cameron Super Select Squareback 2.
