These limited-edition Mizuno irons sold out in minutes. Here’s why

Mizuno Azalea irons masters

The Mizuno Pro 241 Azalea irons are a fusion of artistry and performance designed to celebrate spring.

Mizuno Golf

To kick off spring and celebrate the first men’s major of the year, Mizuno produced a limited edition version of their popular Mizuno Pro 241 blade irons and aptly named them the Alaela irons. There are only 1000 sets of these limited edition irons available worldwide and they went on sale starting April 8th, including at FairwayJockey.com – where they sold out in minutes.

What makes them special?

Like all Mizuno forged irons, the Azalea 241’s are grain flow forged in Hiroshima, Japan, and combine decades of manufacturing precision with modern artistry.

The irons are unique thanks to a specialized PVD finish that hints at pink and green hues in different lights and when held at various angles. The irons are built with color-coordinated ferrules, shafts from True Temper, and Golf Pride grips that carry on the spring theme.

What are the Mizuno Pro 241 irons?

The Mizuno Pro 241 blade is just that, a pure-as-can-be muscle back intended to deliver the utmost in feel, control and looks for the discerning golfer.

The evolution from the previous blade includes better turf interaction thanks to a new sole geometry and a tapered blade design to help the iron appear smaller from the address position without sacrificing feel. Last but not least, to help deliver greater control, the 241s have a shorter blade length than the previous 221 through the entire set.

Price and availability

The Mizuo Pro 241 Alazea irons are limited to 1000 sets worldwide and are priced at $2410.00 (if you can find them).
