Ping i210 irons review and photos: ClubTest 2020

Ping i210 irons.

For the second installment of ClubTest 2020, we tested and reviewed 57 new iron models to help you find the right one for your game. Below are the results for the Ping i210 irons. You can find the full list of irons and test results here.

Price: $125/iron
Clubs: 3-PW
Our take: Designed to satisfy the player who wants feel and control but with the added forgiveness of a cavity-back construction. The faces, grooves and back cavities of the irons are machine-milled for precision, and there’s an elastomer insert that sits behind the face to enhance feel.
ClubTester’s take (10-hdcp): “Impossible to miss your target line with this club. Just point and shoot.”
Robot’s take: High spin, launch and flight for players who need it.

Ping i210 Irons

A compact cavity back iron that is suited for all skill levels with minimal offset. Players can expect a soft feel on shots struck across a bigger portion of the face. More mass in the perimeter of the head makes the i210 more forgiving. The i500 is constructed like a metal wood (hollow stainless steel body and maraging-steel face), which is the same material in G410 fairway woods and hybrids. At impact, the clubface flexes like a wood, which results in faster ball speeds and longer shots than previous models.
