Our take: The RF stamped on the toe lets you know these irons were designed for a certain Cobra staffer. “I can see why Rickie Fowler likes these irons,” commented a tester. “They look so clean. For someone who plays a blade, it fits that handicap range. Easily the prettiest irons I’ve tested.” With sharper edges, a razor-thin topline and almost no offset, the MB RF is built for elite ball strikers, like Fowler, who want to work the ball both ways and demand precise turf interaction.

Cobra King RF Proto Irons

Co-designed by Rickie Fowler and Cobra Golf, the Limited Edition RF Proto Irons are a product of 33 different revisions over the span of a year to create the perfect iron. The rich copper finish was hand selected by Rickie as a finishing touch to make his irons truly one of a kind

The details: Codesigned with Fowler, the traditional blade is forged from soft 1025 carbon steel and then machined using a 100 percent CNC-milling process. From start to finish, it takes 155 minutes to produce a single head that lives up to Fowler’s exacting standards. The lack of offset and ultra-compact profile scream scratch golfer, but thanks to a slug of tungsten in the toe, the stability and feel at impact is kicked up a notch.
