Drivers and fairway woods are often the biggest beneficiaries of new design breakthroughs, but when it came time to create its new line of Mavrik hybrids, Callaway’s crack engineering team decided to give the long-iron replacement the same treatment.

Taking a page from the Mavrik fairway woods, all three Mavrik hybrid models (Standard, Max and Pro) now feature a fully optimized Flash Face SS20 design that was created with the help of a brainy supercomputer.

Optimizing the launch, speed and spin package for each loft in the lineup makes it possible to get the most out of a club that’s become invaluable to many golfers.

Throw in Callaway’s uber-efficient Jailbreak technology—connecting the crown and sole together—and three distinct head designs and it’s easy to see that Mavrik is far from your standard hybrid offering. Also available in Max and Max Lite versions for women.

Mavrik Max: Slightly larger head shape and rearward center of gravity helps deliver ample forgiveness on mishits.

Mavrik Pro: Fairway-esque shape will appeal to the better player. So, too, should the flatter lie angle and compact profile.
