Stylish and cool golf clothes are out there ladies, and I’m excited to give you a quick peek at a few pieces I think are dynamite, and might get you headed in the right fashion direction to keep you feeling fabulous and confident on the golf course.
Now, you don’t have to necessarily wear specific ‘golf clothes,’ and so many golf courses these days have a more lenient policy in regards to what women can wear. If you are not sure about the club’s policy, give the pro shop a call and simply ask. The club is used to answering these questions, and it can make it more comfortable for everyone involved if you know the clothing policy ahead of time. But, my rule of thumb is if you don’t wear a collar, be sure to keep the shirt conservative. No holes, no big, crazy writing all over it. I do love a good breathable tee shirt at the course, scoop neck, three quarter-sleeved, boat neck, and cap sleeves are favorites, and I usually pair them with a flattering skort — a nice length — and I always do a posture check to make sure the skort is not too short.

There’s no better place to begin than on the footsies. Socks are a must when you’re walking the course or sliding into your favorite sneaks for a workout. A no-show sock is my go-to and The Puma Pounce Socks are the perfect no-show sock.

You will always find a jacket like this one rolled up (no wrinkles) in the long pocket of my golf bag. You never know when it might get chilly, or if you’ll need cover from a little rain sprinkle.

For the petite gals, like myself, Amy Sport — who specializes in petite clothing — is a go-to. I can always find the right length skorts that are both age appropriate and perfect on and off the course. If you love patterns, Amy Sport has you covered. I don’t always love dresses on my body frame, but I’ve found one that flatters in Amy Sport. The Frontline Sleeveless Dress in black (comes in a nice red as well) is a great piece to add to your golf wardrobe. The cut is super flattering, the material is light and breathable, yet significant enough to keep everything in the right place (wink, wink) and the pockets hit the body in just the right spot.
