Welcome to Gimme That, a GOLF.com column where we’ll highlight one notable item we think you might like. Whether it’s an article of clothing, an intriguing electronic device or anything in between, we want to share these items with you because they’ve generated a bit of chatter by our water cooler (or, these days, on our Slack channel). So sit back, scroll down and keep up with the latest gear golf has to offer.

I find that, generally, it’s not easy to find great women’s golf basics. The market is flooded with floral prints, bright pastels, and quirky patterns. Menswear, on the contrary, is flooded with classic stripes and neutral solids.

Renwick is trying to fill that gap. Imagine B. Draddy, but for women. They make shirts reminiscent of your dad’s basic striped polo, but cut in a flattering shape that fits a woman’s body. The brand was founded on a cotton short sleeve polo, but they’ve expanded a bit and now make skirts, sweaters and quarter-zips.

We’re particularly keen on this navy and white striped quarter-zip that has a summery, nautical feel. It’s lightweight, has a flattering mock neck and a tapered, but not tight fit. It’s the perfect neutral layering piece for golf.

Renwick’s favorite layering piece keeps you warm during golf or daily life. It is constructed with lightweight fabric so you don’t feel weighed down. The fabric offers stretch as well, keeping you comfortable and moving with ease. In addition, the fabric is made with polyester, offering durability for ample wash and wear and resistance against shrinking and wrinkles.
