Ball care is essential for good golf (just not the type you’re thinking)

Thanks to SAXX Underwear, you can play in comfort!

This isn’t your normal golf-ball care post, guys. Look, underwear has changed over the years. Gone are the baggy first layers that scrunch up against your legs or ride high above your waistline. Enter a more athletic, form-fitting, breathable and comfortable option — which is also ideal for your golf rounds — SAXX Underwear.

About four years ago, I was introduced to SAXX Underwear by a buddy. But to be honest I thought they were run-of-the-mill boxers that were going to feel the same as every other existing pair in my dresser drawer.

They weren’t, because SAXX Underwear is built differently.

Since each pair has a patented BallPark Pouch — providing chafe-free support — you stay dry and supported no matter what type of temps you’re playing in.

Not only does each pair include the brand’s patented BallPark Pouch — which provides friction-free support — but the brand’s Quest collection also is ideal for golfers thanks to the highly breathable micro-mesh fabric, which helps wick sweat and allows for more air circulation.

Understanding the influence their drawers can have on golfers, SAXX has forged ahead and added a group of veteran Tour caddies dubbed the “Ball Masters” to help get the word out. (And if these are good enough for professional caddies, that’s all the endorsement you need.)

The group consists of Geno Bonnalie (Joel Dahmen’s caddie), Aaron Flener (J.T. Poston), John Limanti (Keith Mitchell) and Joel Stock (Will Zalatoris), and this week John Ellis (Wyndham Clark) joined the fold. Last year this group helped raise $10,000 for the Testicular Cancer Foundation. SAXX is running that back this year, donating $100 to the TCF for every birdie made by the caddies’ players during the remainder of the golf season.

But SAXX is looking for more members to join the Ball Masters, and that’s where you come in. SAXX is accepting applications from folks to join the crew between now and June 15, 2024. Winners will be recognized as an official Ball Master, receive a year’s worth of SAXX Underwear, plus receive a shoutout from the Ball Masters.

Finally, the Ball Masters will be present at this year’s Travelers Championship (June 20-23) to interact with fans, offer giveaways and hand out tips on swing thoughts, green reading and, of course, how to stay uber-comfortable on the golf course.

And since every golfer enjoys a little refreshment on the course, SAXX is bringing the Ball refreshment car from the video above, allowing spectators to sample different undies right there for themselves.

So maybe it’s time for you to officially upgrade to SAXX Underwear, too. Soft, breathable, and mega-comfortable, you can now focus on what matters most — just getting your ball in the hole.
