In 1930, the Western Golf Association and celebrated amateur golfer Charles “Chick” Evans Jr. established what’s now the nation’s largest scholarship program for caddies: The Evans Scholars Foundation. The organization operates scholarship houses at 18 leading universities nationwide and has over 1,000 students currently enrolled in school with full or partial tuition scholarships.

The Evans Scholars Foundation is the sole beneficiary of the BMW Championship. Since 2007, the tournament has raised more than $35 million to give students with limited financial means the opportunity to enroll in the school of their dreams — that’s more than 3,000 students!

This year, BMW joined forces with Seamus Golf and Burning Cart Society to produce a 100-piece, limited edition Caddie Pack to raise money for the foundation. Each Caddie Pack ($195) includes an Evans Scholar Caddie Bib headcover constructed by Seamus Golf and a BCS ‘Support Caddies’ t-shirt. At this week’s event, Matt Kuchar, Bryson DeChambeau, and Collin Morikawa among others, will rock Caddie Pack gear in support of the organization.

Caddies are the lifeblood of the game, and with their hard work and personality so often embody the very best of golf.

The Caddie Packs alone are projected to raise $15,000 for the organization, but you can also donate directly to the Evans Scholars Foundation here
