Golf season is nearly upon us. It’s so close you can almost feel the sunshine on your skin and smell the fresh-cut grass of a tightly mown fairway. But even with spring on the horizon, winter persists. The tease of spring can be difficult to stomach during these last few days of winter, but you can get your mind right for the season with a quick read of Jay Revell’s newest book Swing, Walk, Repeat.
The book is a series of short essays penned during the tumultuous year that was 2020. Throughout the year, Revell collected a variety of observations on golf (and life) as he navigated the trials the year presented. The finished product is a love letter to the game penned by one of the most thoughtful voices in the sport. If you’re trying to get your mind right for the season ahead, Swing, Walk, Repeat is a great place to start.
