It’s been a banner year for new equipment and shaft technologies. We’ve seen some killer new drivers that promise big distance and forgiveness, as well as a handful of shafts that have promised (and have delivered) a boost in performance for players of all skills.

And even though we may be nearing the end of 2022, there are still plenty of reasons to stock up on new gear for a 2023 equipment refresh. Let’s dig into some of the top-selling items this year from our affiliate retailer, Fairway Jockey:

Top-selling Custom Clubs (in no particular order):

TaylorMade Stealth Drivers

TaylorMade set out to change the way drivers are constructed, and so far, the “carbonwood” Stealth driver has lived up to the hype. Not only is it a top-seller, it’s also one of the most customizable with a bevy of custom setup and style options available. Under the hood, TaylorMade dropped sixty layers of carbon fiber inside the head that are strategically designed to optimize energy transfer to deliver fast ball speeds over a large area, resulting in optimal distance and forgiveness. Three head options are available: Stealth, Stealth Plus, and Stealth HD.

Titleist TSR Drivers

Introduced only a few months ago, the Titleist TSR drivers have quickly become a must-have big stick for players who want improved performance off the tee. The trio of new drivers includes the TSR2 for players who want all-around high performance; The TSR3 for maximum distance; and the TSR for a low spin. Custom options on Fairway Jockey include not only different head models, but custom shafts, SST Puring, custom grips, and more.

Mizuno has a knack for delivering some of the finest forged irons in the world, and the new Mizuno Pro are no exception. The latest in the family include the streamlined Mizuno Pro 221 blade, the forged muscle-cavity 223 and the top-selling hollow-body 225. The latter being the most playable of the Mizuno Pro series, it’s more compact than the original hollow-body design with a revised CORTEC multi-thickness face for even quicker ball speeds. The 225’s are equally effective as a long/mid-iron alternative for elite players or a complete set for low to mid-handicaps. Custom options include shafts, lie/length, grips and more.
