Is Titleist’s TSi driver a ball speed machine? We conducted head-to-head testing to find out

For those who’ve had the chance to read our comprehensive deep-dive on Titleist’s new TSi2 and TSi3 drivers and fairway woods, you’re well aware of the game-changing face technology the equipment manufacturer is trumpeting.

In Titleist’s eyes, the ATI 425 Aerospace Titanium face is a certified game-changer. It’s incredibly durable and offers a significant uptick in ball speed across the entire face. And Titleist just happens to be the only brand in the industry utilizing the face material.

It sounds like a killer combination on paper, but does the face technology really live up to the hype that’s been emanating from Tour since its release in September? The only way to find out is to conduct head-to-head testing.

In the latest edition of GOLF’s ClubTest, senior equipment editor Andrew Tursky and True Spec’s DJ Lantz throw down the gauntlet in a head-to-head ball speed test pitting Titleist’s TSi2 and TSi3 drivers against the previous TS2 and TS3.

Is TSi that much better? Check out the video to find out.
