For ClubTest 2020, we tested and reviewed 28 new drivers to help you find the right one for your game. Below are the results for the Ping G410 LST driver. You can find the full list of drivers and test results here.
Price: $400
Lofts: 9.5˚, 10.5˚, 12˚
Our take: While the head is slightly smaller than the Plus version (450cc), the LST still offers the same range of adjustability and technology with a low spin profile. Depending on the player, the forward center of gravity can reduce spin by 200 to 400 rpm.
ClubTester’s take (2-hdcp): “Filthy low launch and spin. And this is coming from someone who doesn’t use PING!”
Robot’s take: Near the top in ball speed for high-speed players.
Ping G410 LST driver
Designed for players that want lower spin but still expect the shot shaping control of the G410 family. The G410 LST is a high MOI model engineered to produce low, stable spin with the shot-shaping control provided by the G410 driver family’s innovative movable-weight technology. This compact, multi-material 450cc head combines a fast, forged T9S+ face, improved aerodynamics, and a MOI 3% higher than the G400 LST. Trajectory Tuning 2.0 expands your loft and lie adjustability utilizing a patented eight-setting, lightweight hosel.
